In our eyes, you were the perfect player. It was an honour to watch you play for the Vancouver Canucks for a decade. We will miss having you on the blue line and that booming slapshot of yours. You never once complained about the tough times you went through with all your injuries; you battled back harder than ever, each and every time you went down, and for that we thank you. Its tough to see you go and it will definitely be weird not seeing #6 out on the ice next season. Thank you for being so kind-hearted, well spoken and humble. You are the definition of class. Best of luck in Tampa, we will be watching closely for sure!
